Call for Papers

The ubiquity of Internet, web, cloud and mobile technologies are the main driving forces behind the success and popularity of online social networks, which represent interactions and linkages among friends, families, colleagues, businesses, and organizations. Billions of users across the globe are using various social networks for various purposes. Social networks are characterised by complex network structures and architectural designs. They give rise to research challenges in different application areas such as social setup, businesses, commerce, education, healthcare, public sector and governmental organizations. This has opened up opportunities for interdisciplinary research that require expertise from a variety of disciplines such as computer science, statistics, mathematics, social science, medical sciences, business and finance.

The International Symposium on Social Networks and Applications (SoNet) provides a forum for researchers, developers, and practitioners from cross-disciplinary areas in order to present their work, and share research and development ideas.

Paper Submission

Authors are requested to submit papers reporting original research results and experience. The page limit is 6 to 8 pages. Papers should be prepared using IEEE two-column template.

Submitted research papers may not overlap with papers that have already been published or that are simultaneously submitted to a journal or a conference with proceedings.

All papers accepted for this symposium are peer-reviewed and are to be published in the conference proceedings by the Conference Publishing Service (CPS) .
